The fields are ready. Plant hope that transforms communities.

| View in browser Newsletter, December 2025 Dear friends,   Inspired! That's how I felt when I came home last night after a wonderful evening in Almere in the Netherlands. Along with a group of donors, I was privileged to spend time at one of our partner organizations where we were updated on the missionary work and allocation of the generous contributions of donor support. It was all so encouraging, but what really moved me was the testimony of a few youth workers. The youth in Almere, a medium-sized city, are really struggling with loneliness, drugs, alcohol, and violence just to name a few things.   In January, these workers began praying intensely for God to connect them with this group of troubled youth. Now, 11 months later, they have contact with a few thousand young people with whom they are sharing the Gospel. On the city bus, you’ll now see many young people reading their Bibles which is something we haven’t seen before in this city! God is truly at work! He hears prayer. He opens doors and shows us that the fields are white for harvest.  About a month ago I visited Texas. I was touched to see many young people there also walking with the Lord. I often hear people saying, "God has blessed us abundantly, and that's why we want to give back."  What a privilege to give out of love for our God who showers us with His goodness! He, Himself, gave the most valuable thing He had in the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ!   May our hearts be filled with that precious knowledge as we approach Christmas!  Wim Hasselman President MissionInvest USA  All Kingdom Projects The fields are white and ready to HARVEST! This verse in John 4:35 came to mind during my last trip as I was driving through the Texas fields stretching as far as the eye can see. On one hand, you see the 'oil horses' everywhere pumping black gold out of the ground 24/7. Above ground, on the other hand, snow-white cotton grows. Balls of thread on a bush. So beautiful! Wherever you look, the fields are radiant white! In addition to the oil, this produces a huge harvest for Texans, as well.   I have witnessed how incredibly generous so many Texans are! Wherever there is a need, they help, whether near or far. This Texas-sized bigheartedness is especially true when it comes to spreading the Gospel! Their top priority is evident - WINNING SOULS FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD!   So many of them have shared that they do this in direct response to Jesus' command to preach the Gospel worldwide. It can't wait any longer! The fields are white for the harvest right NOW! The harvest is GREAT, but so much is needed! Are you moved like we are to support a missionary project as well?  Partner with us to bring the harvest Project - Hope for Colombia Colombia is a such a gorgeous country, but more than 50-year civil war has been devastating! Poverty and violence run rampant. The Dutch Reformed Mission League (GZB) is helping to bring healing by providing support for the Presbyterian Church in Columbia so it can retain its focus on serving people both inside and outside the church. They put hands and feet to Jesus' command to care for the vulnerable in society.   Through the 'Somos Diáconos' (meaning 'we are deacons') training, church members are equipped as diaconal teams to care for the defenseless in their communities. They do this by organizing after-school activities in neighborhoods with high levels of violence and drug problems. They provide care for the homeless and look after Venezuelan refugees. Those who can’t afford food are nourished with a healthy meal. The church leaders are also given solid Biblical training at the seminary and shown how to make a tangible difference for their communities enabling the church to become a beacon of hope in Colombia! Bring Hope to Colombia Our partners in philanthropic giving    MissionInvest USA is growing rapidly. With that in mind, we continue to build strategic partnerships with reputable organizations in philanthropic giving. We are very thankful for our partnerships with National Christian Foundation, TrustBridge Global and with Impact Foundation. Together we make life changing impact!  Project – Save children's lives in Malawi Each year, 5 million children die needlessly before their fifth birthday. An estimated 55% of child mortality and 66% of newborn mortality could be prevented by improving monitoring thereby reducing complications and implementing staff more effectively.   To address these challenges, our partner GOAL3 developed IMPALA, a comprehensive patient monitoring system, consisting of a monitoring device, a server and a tablet-based patient dashboard for clinical applications. This solution not only enables health workers to monitor and prioritize their patients more accurately and effectively, but it also allows them to intervene earlier, which is cost-effective, increases recovery time and improves survival rates!   The IMPALA system has already been implemented in 12 hospitals in Africa but, despite all of IMPALA’s benefits, mission hospitals in Malawi often simply cannot afford the upfront capital expense of the monitors, training, and infrastructure.   MissionInvest is planning to help equip 3 more mission hospitals obtain and implement the innovative IMPALA system and we are looking for $90,000 in funding to accomplish this. Together, we can help hospitals drastically reduce child and newborn mortality while greatly improving the quality of health care! Help save the lives of newborns and children in Malawi! Project - Grain from the desert Did you know that the desert used to be fertile land and we can make it fertile again! With proper irrigation techniques it can even provide food again for many!   Right now, there’s a famine expanding in Egypt and threatening many lives. Drought is causing crop failures and mounting food shortages. While we celebrate Christmas, it almost seems impossible to fathom that others are going to bed hungry not knowing if they will eat anything at all on Christmas day. The Nile Valley Foundation is doing everything they can to make the desert fertile again. The first project has already proven very successful. After several operational delays, we have witnessed a substantial, sustainable wheat harvest this year. Hundreds of hungry families have gotten the wheat needed to make nourishing bread so they can survive!   Because this innovative project is fundamentally self-sustaining, only a one-time donation is needed because 60% of the harvest is directly distributed to the poorest families in the region while the remaining 40% is used to purchase next season’s seeds and maintain the irrigation system. MissionInvest has also recently launched a second project together with the Nile Valley Foundation. This 50-acre project is expected to yield wheat for more than 600,000 Egyptian loaves of bread. That's enough to feed 1,000 people for a full year every year!   This one-time only investment for the second phase is $128,000 in order to jumpstart grain production and construct the self-sustaining system.   Feed over 1,000 people in Egypt MissionInvest USA, 1117 65th Drive, Lubbock, Texas TX 79412, USA, (806) 451-6189 Unsubscribe |
