The harmony within our family, the majesty of the mountains, and the beauty of God's creation often left me with a heart full of gratitude. More than once, I found myself simply whispering: Amazing Grace!   And yet, while we were enjoying God's blessings, millions of people around the world are facing unimaginable hardship. Wars continue to devastate entire regions, wildfires consume communities, floods destroy homes and livelihoods, and at the end of August another tragic disaster struck Nepal. The brokenness of this world is impossible to ignore. The Bible speaks honestly about this reality. We live in a fallen world marked by suffering, loss, and injustice. Thankfully, Scripture does not leave us without hope. First and foremost, we proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the only true source of salvation and eternal hope. We also answer God’s call to show compassion, hospitality, and generosity toward those in need.   As the Apostle Paul writes, "So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith" (Galatians 6:10). This is what MissionInvest stands for. Amid the brokenness of our world, we have the privilege of sharing from what God has entrusted to us and demonstrating His love and mercy through Jesus Christ. Funding priority  \|  Grain from the Desert - Egypt In southern Egypt, thousands of Christian families struggle to survive due to rising food prices and falling incomes. And this is right where Grain from the Desert brings hope! Since 2023, 50 acres of barren desert have been transformed into fertile ground, providing bread for 1,000 poor Coptic families each year. We believe that the Lord has even bigger plans for this project and we are looking to transform another 50 acres. Water and solar energy are already in place. We are seeking to secure the funding to start cultivation before the rainy season begins in September/October!   For this project, another $100,000 is URGENTLY needed! For just under $2,500 per acre, the ground can be prepared to provide enough grain for daily bread for 20 fellow Christians year after year! Our goal is to create lasting impact for at least 1,000 people!   Will you help build their future with us? Impact story  \|  IMPALA Project - Mission hospitals Malawi Together with the GOAL 3 Foundation, we support rural mission hospitals in Malawi by providing them with life-saving hospital equipment. GOAL 3 Foundation brings its IMPALA patient-monitoring technology to hospitals that need it most, helping reduce newborn and child mortality by up to 51%. To help put that in perspective, at Mchinji District Hospital in Malawi (the hospital featured in the video), the IMPALA technology helped save an additional 214 babies over a one-year period. And the impact goes far beyond a single year. Because IMPALA is designed for long-term use, bringing this technology to hospitals today can improve the quality of care for generations to come.   Through MissionInvest, GOAL 3 Foundation has raised $150,000 this year and is looking to raise an additional $50,000 by the end of the year. This $50,000 will help bring IMPALA to an additional two mission hospitals in Malawi, as well as improve patient care for hundreds of thousands of Malawians who rely on these hospitals. At the state line, a sign immediately caught my eye: “Welcome to Iowa: Freedom to Flourish!” Those words stayed with me. They touch upon something deeply rooted in American society: the freedom to take initiative, assume responsibility, and build something meaningful.   You see this everywhere in Iowa. Vast farmlands, impressive agricultural operations, red barns, and towering silos define the rolling landscape. As a farmer’s son, I felt right at home there.
