It’s going so well with MissionInvest USA! Not only has the income and the number of partners doubled, but what’s even more amazing is that we’ve already reached tens of thousands of people with the Gospel through our worldwide projects! On top of that, thousands of people who were living in poverty are now living a hopeful future free from poverty! Now that’s IMPACT!
First of all, we are so thankful to God for His blessings! We are also so very grateful to you for all your support over the past year! We are on the right track and, with your support, we will be expanding even further this year.
In the coming weeks, I’m looking forward to getting together with our friends and partners in the States because I’ll be attending “The Lion’s Den” in Dallas.
Wim Hasselman
President MissionInvest USA
In addition to visiting Texas, I’ll also be spending a few days in Michigan. I can’t wait to inspire and be inspired for the sake of God's Kingdom. TOGETHER and in the power of Jesus, our Savior, we will take ground!
Let your heart and your own mission guide you in finding projects that you can wholeheartedly support!
MissionInvest USA is headed in the right direction!
MissionInvest was founded in the Netherlands in January 2019 and has built a strong position in recruiting mission-related investments there. In the past 5 years, MissionInvest has been able to realize more than $30 million in Kingdom projects from $5 million in donations and $25 million in investment capital.
In the US, MissionInvest has been registered as 501c3 since 2021 and is therefore only active in raising donations and grants. We are so thankful that MissionInvest USA has seen increased revenue as well. In 2024, we’re hoping to grow and see $800,000 in donations for our projects and our overhead costs are only 7%!
Because we want to see more Kingdom projects financed, we’re currently investigating how we can also raise investment capital in the States with Varnum, a law firm in Grand Rapids! If we’re able to do this, it’ll give to our project portfolio a huge boost!
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
In April, I’m hoping to get together with many friends and partners again in Texas and Michigan and especially in Grand Rapids. Participation in The Lion's Den in Dallas on April 10 and 11 will definitely be a highlight of the trip. The Lion's Den is such a great platform for entrepreneurs and (impact) investors with a heart for Kingdom projects. Last year was such an amazing and inspiring experience! I’m expecting to again be a part of an incredible time together!
If you’ll be at The Lions Den as well, let's meet up for coffee! If you’re not in Dallas, but would like to meet in person, take a look at the schedule below. As you can see, there are quite a few opportunities to get together!
NEW Project! HELP build a maternity hospital in Ghana!
Maternal and child mortality is extremely high in Northern Ghana! With the construction of a new maternity clinic as well as healthcare provider training, we can improve this tremendously within the next 2 years. A very passionate Christian couple who are both doctors in tropical medicine have been living in this area with their family since 2016. They’re leading this wonderful project themselves and their goal is to build the clinic this year! The foundation has already been laid. The total cost is $350,000 of which almost half has already been funded! MissionInvest USA is still seeking $175,000 for this project. Are you in!?!
Project in Egypt - Abundant Grain Sprouts in the Deserts!
The Bible tells us about a wonderful promise that “the desert will bloom.” We see this already happening in Israel, and it’s going to start happening in Egypt! Poverty is rampant in the southern part of Egypt, but thanks to a generous gift from a donor, last year we collaborated with the Coptic Church in realizing a first project of 21-hectare. Right now, the grain is growing rapidly, and we expect the first harvest already this May! Because this project has just taken off, we’re looking to start a second project with another 21-hectares! The initial costs for a new borehole, installing irrigation equipment and fertilizing the land total $163,000. With this 21-hectacres, we’ll be able to feed 5,000 families who now live in extreme poverty and, very often, simply go hungry. Please read more here. The beauty of your support is that what you sow today will produce a huge continuous harvest year after year!
THANKS! The new school building has been 100% financed!
Fantastic news! In 2023, a donor from the States funded an astounding $125,000 for the construction of the new school in Ethiopia. Last February, we received the last $80,000 through two donors from MissionInvest Netherlands. This means that everything has been financed and the school will be ready on time in September for the start of the new academic year. Another great encouragement and testimony to God’s provision!
